Among the alleged offenders investigated for instances of child abuse in Wyoming in 2017:
- 138 were a parent of the victim
- 45 were a steparent of the victim
- 79 were other relatives of the victim
- 94 were the parent's boyfriend/girlfriend
- 73 were an unrelated person the victim knew
